Where We Live Murder Mystery Event - Murder in Margaritaland!>
|
An interactive mystery event where you might be the
key witness, the victim, or even....THE MURDERER!
A clever concoction of Chaos, Crime & Cocktails in the Caribbean.
Somewhere in the tropics between the Port of Indecision and Southwest of Disorder you’ll find that murder meets mayhem and the intrigue begins!
While most vacation at Margaritaland, an exclusive tropical resort, to get away from their troubles, for one unfortunate soul, it will mean the end of their travels all together.
Has the lottery winner’s luck run out? Will it be the bartender who has served his last drink? Is the honeymoon over for the newlyweds before it even began? Or will the stars collide for one Hollywood superstar?
At the resort, the guilty will mingle among the guests and everyone will be left with the task of deciphering between the facts and falsehoods that plague this paradise in order to make a killer pay for their crime.

Boiling Spring
Lakes Community
Center
On Saturday, August 23, 2008 we
transformed the Boiling Spring Lakes
Community Center into a tropical island
resort, complete with tiki bar, for our
third Murder Mystery Event - Murder in
Margaritaland! Intrigue and deceit
were the order of the day as the suspects
(I mean, GUESTS) assembled and
started digging out each other's secrets.
After noshing on Cheeseburgers in
Paradise (thanks, Sherry & Myron!!)
and savory chicken sticks (no, that
wasn't the smoke alarm going off, I
Coconut Joe and his wife, Coconut
Jane (Jeff and Lisa Stites) welcome
guests to Margaritaland.
swear.....) the partygoers were welcomed by Coconut Joe (Jeff
Stites), owner of Margaritaland, and warned that all was not as it
seemed. The drinks flowed, the sounds of reggae filled the air,
Tatum Tatt (Rob Wall) was doing a brisk tattoo business.....and then
the lights went out and SCREAMS filled the air!

Pam Sargent offers
refreshments to the guests,
while..........(R) Starr
Bright (Maureen Dewire)
ponders getting a tattoo
from legendary tattoo
artist, Tatum Tatt (Rob
Wall).
The victim (Mark Deese) -
thank goodness the beer was
saved....
Everyone did a great job playing their parts,
dressing in costumes and generally getting
into the spirit of the evening, but several
people were

Agent Hollywood (MIchelle Lawson)
can't BELIEVE that Lifesavin' Sam
(Marion Warren) stole her hamburger.....
declared top notch (by popular
vote!): Guy Auger, as the
trouble-making, womanizing,
dope-dealing (I PROMISE that those
hand-rolled cigarettes he was
"selling" were 100% legit!!) Cabana
Bob won the crowd over and took
home top honors in the "Drama
Queen" and "Best Costume"
categories. For the ladies, Sherry
Stocks was the crowd's pick as
best-dressed, in her tropical
ensemble, and Margaret
Breitwieser was the easy favorite as
the cross-dressing Bus Boy.
Maureen Dewire ONCE AGAIN
earned/stole/finagled the most money
out of her fellow party goers and took
home the Moneybags award. (HOW
DOES SHE DO IT????)
A great evening was had by all! Thank you so much to everyone
