Starting in Fall 2007, Where We Live is pleased to present KORD Music, a
series of music classes geared towards infant-6 year olds. Similar to nationally
offered music classes, KORD Music aims to introduce children to the
fundamentals of music while fostering creativity and a child's natural enthusiasm
for exploration and experimentation. An interactive class for both children and
their caregivers, KORD Music is an affordable and accessible alternative for
families in Brunswick County.
PLEASE NOTE: This is not a "drop-off". KORD Music is designed as a music education experience
for children to share with their caregivers.
Funded in part by a grant from the Brunswick Arts Council.

Classes will be held on Thursdays from 10:00-11:00 am, at the Boiling Spring
Lakes Community Center.

About our instructor:
Katie Deese has taught music for over eight years,
in both public and private schools. She holds a
Bachelor's of Music degree from the
University of Georgia, where she majored in
Music Education. Katie lives in Boiling Spring
Lakes, NC with her husband, Mark. The Deeses
welcomed their first child, Rebecca Elizabeth
Deese, on June 24, 2007.
